MADILYN PAIGE: SONG CAMP
In December, 2022, ENDURE Studios Nashville hosted another song camp – this time centered primarily around rising artists, Madilyn Paige of NBC’s The Voice, Broadway Alum, Laura Osnes, and Oscar winning ADASSA. Jay Denton and Chris Meek put together a songwriting team of Jay, Aarron Kellim, Ariel Lask, Brittany Bookout, Katrina Stone, and Tanner James to team up with Madilyn, Laura, ADASSA, and Coburn Larsen to write songs for the artists’ 2023 albums.
With sessions in the morning and afternoon, this crew had a particular affinity for burning the midnight oil, and often re-grouped for sessions that went long into the nights, which sometimes ranged as late as 3:00am. There was a powerful camaraderie that developed in the studio, in the kitchen, and over the dinner table, and we were blown away by how much great music came out of one week together! Jay Denton worked with Madilyn Paige to produce her first 5 song EP of 2023, and every one of those songs came out of this week together in Nashville. What a way to wrap up 2022!
