MALORY OFFICIAL: HOOK HAUS

In October we had the honor of hosting an Extreme Music Camp at ENDURE Nashville for Extreme artist, Malory. ENDURE Studios founder, Jay Denton, along with Katrina Stone, John Coggins, and Benj Heard have formed the notorious writer/producer team, “Hook Haus”, and they did not disappoint! For five days, Malory and the Hook Haus crew wrote and started recording 15 songs both for Malory and three other great Nashville artists, Jenn Bostic, Ri-an (Rhyan Shirley), and Gigi Rich, who also joined the camp that week.  The amount of talent in the studio on a given day was pretty mind blowing, and walking room to room we could feel the electricity and hear the magic that was being recorded on the spot.

From Malory’s whimsical indie acoustic songs to Ri-an’s cinematic textures to the power vocals of Gigi and Jenn, each room and each song had its own unique texture, and we’re all excited to see where these songs go in the hands of Extreme Music.  We also got to bring in an upright bass for Colton Russell to throw down on the last day of the camp to bring that extra vibe to some of the songs.

Malory, alongside her skills on the mic and the pen, also has a knack for getting people out of their shells to the point where all of us learned what “face acting” meant in the game of charades. Overall, we had an incredible week with some of the most gifted creators in the sync space from Los Angeles, to Nashville, to Canada, and we can’t wait for y’all to hear the music when it’s done!
